The Mutineer is a combination between the Castaway model and a Simmons style of board. It is extremely stable, fast, and unique. I took the basic concepts of a Simmons type of design, but thinned it out, and added a bit more curve in the outside lines to help with rail to rail transitions. If you have not experienced the feel of a Simmons inspired style of board, I definitely recommend it. They are extremely fast, and quite responsive. Imagine the speed and responsiveness of a fish, but with a trim of a dispacement hull... yup! The best of both worlds.

The Mutineer is wide all the way thru. The bottom of the board starts off with a slight displacement at the nose, then fades into a slight single concave in the tail. There is a good edge in the tail which fades into a pinched 50/50 rail the further up towards the nose. Slight S deck, to keep the board from being nose heavy. And of course the fins, which are also a blend between the Castaway keel fins, and a Simmons style of keel fins.
